Grief

I make no secret of the fact that losing my Mum has changed me as a person and in the first few weeks and months of my loss, I felt as though I was going mad.

Grief is not an illness or a disorder.   If someone you love is no longer here, it is extremely hard to deal with (understatement) and as a society, we are exceptionally bad at dealing with and talking about grief.

Please take a look at the website for The Good Grief Trust.   There are so many helpful resources on there, I wish I'd known about it at the time I lost my Mum.

I am now a volunteer with The Good Grief Trust and I host and co-host online Grief Cafés each week.
